See innovation solutions in action and robots in their element at the SPRINT Robotics Technology Demo Days. The demonstration days are planned at sites where robots can perform tasks on assets and end user companies can familiarize themselves with emerging technologies. The SPRINT Robotics has organized a number of Technology Demo Days, including Houston (PRCI), Antwerp (BASF), Rotterdam (Europoort), Norway (Mongstad), and France (Oleum).
The Robotics Fitness Challenge takes SPRINT Robotics demo days to a new level, putting robots to the test in a real-world environment. The two-day event took place on May 31st & June 1st, allowing Associate Participants to showcase their technologies. Each robot registered in the Robotics Fitness Challenge followed a predefined list of use cases and tasks. At the end of the event, Highest Scores were declared for each category.
SRAP Coordinator: Anthony Biviano (Woodside)
“Bringing industry, end-users, and vendors together to share and develop real use cases progresses innovation and creates a sustainable robotics market to allow all collaborators to thrive.”
SREU Coordinator: Ekkehard Zwicker (Waygate Technologies)
“The European Chapter played an active role in setting up and influencing the European Robotics Roadmap which will help to guide the research activities as well as future research grants into a direction we regard as key for our industry. A main achievement was to get Inspection & Maintenance as one of the four key pillars of robotic activities in European robotic research.”
SRNA Coordinator: Eric Sjerve (IRISNDT)
“SRNA has significantly accelerated the use of commercially available systems by connecting directly with end users at their sites of operation, while also facilitating their continued development supported by asset owner needs.”
